2. For me, both my most formative and joyous experience revolves around the Elevator pitch. The first pitch was the most formative, it reminded me how bad of a public speaker I was and how I really needed to improve my skills. The 3rd was the most joyous because you could see that you are getting better in such a short time, that you feel more comfortable in front of the camera. I think the act of posting a video for everyone to see and critique was really beneficial in showing that it is not such a big deal after all.
3. I believe I have more of an entrepreneurial mindset, but I am not an entrepreneur yet. In order for me to become an entrepreneur I would need to start acting on the thoughts I have written out during this class. I think this class sets the perfect mind frame and plan for how to begin being an entrepreneur, but at the end, you have to do it yourself.
4. I would say my one recommendation is to actually act on the ideas you have presented in your blog. I believe actually doing something will make this class infinitely times more productive for yourself. That is what i would personally recommend.
I agree with your initial assessment that included your beginning disdain for the class and inability to understand why this course was worth the time that I was putting in. However, when adapting my mindset to fit the surrounding of each assignment, I realized the value of the lessons taught through customer acquisition and finding a market that fits the product demand. In the end, I think we would both agree that this class has been an asset that can harness skills that will be of importance for future success.
ReplyDeleteNice recommendation. I know I do not plan to act on my idea because I have other side hustles going on, but I wish I could. We spent a lot of time in this class developing these ideas and came a long way. Most people who start businesses do not have classmates helping them, teachers reviewing their work and guidelines to follow to success. This class is a good way to get your idea formulated and create a plan so you can take to the real world and rave on.
